Blessed Michael McGivney
Blessed Michael McGivney (1852–1890) was a Catholic priest and the founder of the Knights of Columbus, a fraternal organization dedicated to supporting Catholic men and their families. Born in Waterbury, Connecticut, McGivney was known for his deep faith, compassion for the poor, and commitment to social justice. He established the Knights of Columbus in 1882 to provide financial aid to widows and orphans, and to promote charitable works within the community. His feast day is August 13

All of my portraits of saints original drawings were created with black Prismacolor pencils. This media choice was to insure a maximum contrast of black and white rather than the grey of graphite. The benefit is that all of my saint prints are the exact same size and contrast as the original drawing.
